Alicia creates art that ranges from intricately detailed to pleasantly simplified. With expertise in multiple media including cut paper, pen and ink, and various paints, Alicia tells stories that connect to and mock the past, as well as elicit emotional responses from the viewers.
In 2011 Alicia was commissioned to create a mural by the River Kids Community Mural Project with children of two churches who were affected by the events of September 11, 2001. The mural now hangs in the 9/11 Memorial Museum.
