DIMENSION
Dimension Rock began tagging New York City highways and streets at age 12, selling his work on Soho sidewalks by 18, and landed his first solo show at the legendary Sound Factory by age 22. His work spans paintings, murals, and illustrations. From street work to gallery installations, and private commissions, Dimension continues to concentrate on context of style rather than being dictated by it.
With architectural consideration to his wall on the 69th floor, a silver pyramid presents itself as the base for classic graffiti designed to illuminate at sunset. The peak of illumination for the metallic pyramid is 7pm when the horizon line outside of WTC building 4 aligns with the horizon line of the mural indoors. By applying classic graffiti to the setting sun, Dimension showcases the ancestral design aspects integral to his experience mentored in NYC graffiti.
As the 7th artist on the 69th floor, Dimension brings a splash of color, illumination, and spirituality through the filter of classic graffiti in an otherwise grey environment.
