At the age of 23, Joe LaPadula founded Martino Auto Concepts. After 25 years, MAC has successfully cultivated and maintained partnerships with international companies like Sony, DUB Magazine, Rides Magazine, Monster Energy, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi and PPG Industries.
Having a vision to cross over into the art world, Joe also created numerous collaborations with renowned contemporary artist Rashaad Newsome, featured at Marlborough Galleries, New Museum, Ramis Barquet Gallery and The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. Then he created The Lamborghini Art Car with Rashaad which unveiled in 2013 at the New Orleans Museum of Art. Next came the Ferrari Art Car made with legendary graffiti artist, John Crash Matos which was unveiled at the New York International Auto Show in 2014. Since then it has been on display at Art Basel, Art Wynwood, Art Southampton and was featured on FOX 5 News.
First City Project, housed in Glen Cove, Long Island, NY is Joe’s newest collaboration where coordinated over 150 world renowned street artists to paint the walls of a 9000 square foot historic building turning individual collaborations into an art collective. Joe also orchestrated artist’s Sean Sullivan and Scott Zimer to display their art on a 400 foot retaining wall entering the City of Glen Cove.
